Layer 1 - Intent

Documented? No. The agent was deployed without a written purpose statement. When asked, three different team members provided three different descriptions of what the agent is for.

Layer 2 - Containment

Defined? Partially. The agent has access to the full SharePoint environment, not just the knowledge base it was built for. No explicit prohibitions are documented.

Layer 3 - Accountability

Owner named? Yes, in Entra. Owner aware of ownership? Confirmed yes. Owner able to describe agent's authorized scope? No - the owner referenced the original implementation partner for scope details.

Finding

Layer 1 and Layer 2 are incomplete. The agent is in production with access broader than its stated function and without a documented authorization record.

Regulatory exposure

If this agent drafts a client communication that is inaccurate, the SEC's disclosure alignment question - "does the AI output match what you represented to clients" - cannot be answered from existing documentation. The audit log shows what was drafted. No document shows what the agent was authorized to draft.
